 The Woodville District Cricket Club wishes to pass on its most sincere condolences to the family of Woodville legend Barry Jarman. Barry was a brilliant wicket-keeper and batsman who shaped the style and atmosphere of cricket in SA during the 1960's. He was 15yo when he played his first A grade game for Woodville and went on to take 275 dismissals (168 catches / 107 stumpings) and amassed 4501 runs for the Peckers with 5 centuries at an average of 23.08. He played in our 1965/66 A Grade Premiership team and is a Life Member of WDCC. He was Club Coach for 3 years and has a Grandstand named after him at Woodville Oval. Cap # 46. Rest in Peace Barry. Forever a Pecker.
