My beautiful husband, Rocco I sat by your side and watched this disease take you from the life we had. We shared 52½ wonderful years together and it gave me the greatest honour being your wife. Thank you for our beautiful sons. You taught them how to love, respect and work hard (just like their Dad) and they have blessed us with 10 amazing grandchildren. I would not change the life we had together for the world and I will miss you deeply. I know your brothers are waiting with opens arms to play briscola with you and to be together again. Goodbye my love, until we meet again. Your loving and devoted wife Mimma. RIP.

Dad, You were such a strong person right up until your last breath. We will miss your stubborn ways and you always being right. You taught us to work hard and no job was ever too big for you. Thank you for your help and guidance throughout our lives. The memories we have will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace until we meet again. Love you always, Vince and Adriana.

Pa, The happy times were family road trips, family gatherings, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, olive picking, making sausages, sauce and wine, renovations, concreting, tiling, bricklaying, painting, tree lopping, yelling, joking, teaching, showing off, working and more working and proud Nonno moments. The sad times were the most recent, but the happy times are the ones we treasure and will hold in our hearts forever. You had a huge heart and were never afraid of work. Work was afraid of you. If someone said that will do, you said let’s keep going – you never gave up. Love you Dad, Frank and Sonia.

Pa, Gone from our sight, but always in our hearts. You were proud of all of us and of the families that we have become. You were so strong, loving and caring and we are proud to call you Dad and Nonno. Until we meet again. Love you forever, David and Rosa.

To our dearest Dad, You never ceased to amaze us with your sheer determination for life even when the end was near. They say the power of an individual is shown through the strength of their will and Dad, you will always be remembered and admired for the courage you showed. We have never seen anyone negotiate the best deals like you did. Nothing stood in your way, not even our embarrassment. Thanks a million for your guidance and support throughout our lives and this will always be cherished. Love you forever Jamie and Karina xx

Dear Nonno Rocco, Thank you for being the most amazing Nonno to every single one of us. We have cherished every moment with you and are grateful for all the joyful memories you have left us with. We will never forget you running up and down the hallway playing chasey with us as little kids, the times you held the chickens for us when we were too scared to, or even when you told us off for taking all the apples off the apple tree! You have fought for so long to see us grow up and we all aspire to be as strong as you. Thank you for teaching us new things in life and helping us become who we are today. Not a day will go by where we won’t miss you, we love you so much Nonno. Love from, Emma, Joshua, Loren, Alyssa, Christian, Danielle, Rocco, Nathan, Isaac and Julian.

Our sincere thanks to all the staff, nurses and carers at Highgate and Northgate Residential Care Facilities especially Julie, Margaret, Annie and Scott.
