It is with great sadness that the SA Football Commission and SANFL acknowledges the passing of SA Football Hall of Fame member and one of the greats of our game, Geof Motley OAM.
A Magarey Medallist and SANFL Player Life Member, Geof played in a record nine premierships with Port Adelaide, while lining up in 250 games from 1953-1966, and represented SA on 28 occasions.
Inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2008, Geof’s remarkable achievements will always be remembered.
