LAWSON, Ross
Ross Richard Gay Lawson, OAM (as he would say- Gay by name, not by nature), born 18/12/1936 and passed away 31/01/2024. Aged 87. Much loved father of Joanne and Rowan and father in law of Dean and Rhoisin. Grandfather to Alexandra and Erinna. A true gentleman who was funny, kind, frustrating, generous and stubborn! He lived his life fully and had many achievements in Customs and Shipping in Australia and more so in his worldwide work with Jaycees International for which he received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 1977. And there’s so much more…. The world is a little less bright without him.
