Passed away on 23rd November 2023, aged 84 content, with every opportunity life had presented. Vin leaves behind his 4 children and their extended families comprising of 12 grandkids and 5 great grandkids. We have fond memories of your "Life ... be in it" attitude and all hope that you enjoy the thrill of wind through your hair again as you cycle strong & fast on your journey to meet your beloved Doreen once again. The Hobson Family

A loving Dad & Pa taken away suddenly. We will never forget your fun-loving nature, your hard work, the values you instilled in us all and most of all the love you gave us. You were a true gentleman. Only the best come from Yorkshire. Finally reunited with Mum. Love always Anita, Geoff, Edwars, Julia & Sarah.

Your passing has come as a shock and has struck all of us quite deeply. You have given me the courage to have a crack at so many things and I thank you your support and have-a-go and "Life ... be in it!" attitude. A proud and staunch Yorkshireman through & through, you are a man with great values and have been inspiring to me, my sisters, our families & so many others that you worked with throughout your career. If cycling was your passion, Doreen and family were your true love. We will miss you nibling your bottom lip, your cheeky smile and your Yorkshire accent. Hope you reunite with Mum and cycle the Yorkshire Dales to the Phoenix for a drink & to sit on the stone wall together with your brother Keith as infinitum.

Forever loved, Anthony, Heidilynn, Jai, Ari & Tate.

Much loved Father, Father-in-Law, Pa & Great Pa. Our hearts are broken but we thank you for always being there for us. Your love, support, guidance, wisdom and sense of humour will live on inside of us forever. We will cherish ourr memories of you and take comfort in knowing that you are once reunited with Mum. You are now free to cycle the roads in Heaven. We say a final cheers to you with a glass of Port. Love always from Janet, Rob, Jason & Daina, Aaron, Luke & Amy, Arlo, Amelia, Mia & Isla.

Our loving Dad, you were taken from us way too soon, I cannot express the loss we all feel. I will try not to dwell on the sadness in my heart but remember the great times we shared together. You were a great Dad full of adventure.
