The Chairman, Committee and staff of the Melbourne Racing Club are saddened by the passing of former Chairman Kevin Hayes.
Kevin served with distinction on the committee from 1991 to 2002 and as Vice Chairman in 1998 and Chairman 1999-2002.
Kevin was regarded as a true gentleman of the turf. He was much loved and respected by all at our club and within the racing industry. We extend our sincere sympathy to his wife Beryl and the Hayes family.
