Dear Ma,

Your last years were difficult with ill health

and loss of independence.

I suffered watching you lose more of yourself each day.

I grieve your loss and the time we spent together,

but not your passing as it's God's will.

I loved you as you did me and take comfort

that you are now with your Yanni

into eternity in God's loving presence.
