Dear Mum,

It doesn’t matter how old you are,

we always need our Mother.

You gave us

such wonderful care and love.

You loved us all and you were so proud

of all your grandchildren.

We were blessed

to have you in our lives.

Even in your last days

that you were in so much pain,

you showed us strength,

resilience and love.

A mother’s love

will always be treasured.

You are our first love,

you held us close to your heart.

You may be gone now

but you will never be forgotten.

We will hold you close in our hearts.

May you now rest in peace.

With much love.

Pasquale (Pat) and Lina.

Bella Mamma,

From a young age,

you have always taught me

how to stand on my own two feet.

You always managed

to get us through the toughest of times,

which has made me

the person I am today.

Your sense of humour and love of life

will always be

my dearest memories of you.

Your pleasures in life were simple,

but enough for you.

May you rest in Peace with Dad;

words cannot express

how much I will miss you.

Until we meet again Mum -

Love Tommasina.

Dear Ma,

You have been a part of my life

for 56 years and I will cherish

the memories we have made together,

all my love Donato.

To our Dearest Nonna Maria (Mia),

We have never known life without you.

Our lives were truly enriched

because you were a part of them.

We are so lucky to have had you there

for every occasion.

Our kids are so blessed

to have you as their Bisnonna.

There was never a time

that you didn’t check

to see if our bellies were full

(hai mangiato?),

if our kids were hungry

or simply what was happening

in our lives.

Your blankets are your legacy

and so special to us,

they will remain a part

of the beautiful memories

we have of you.

Your cheekiness and quick wit

will always stay with us;

we see it in our kids.

Lots of love

from all your Grandchildren

and their families.
