Passed away peacefully on 15th March 2024, aged 96 years in the presence of family at Calvary Lower Plenty.
Daughter to Ida (dec) and Percy ROSS (dec), and sister to Lorna (dec). Much loved wife of Les (dec). Adored mother of Greg and Neil, and mother -in- law to Jan (dec) and Robyn. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother, to Paul, Kylie and Charlotte, Elise and Ben, Stephen, Mel, Ben, Emma and Jake, Kate, George(dec) and Jack, Ryan, Tet, Ana and Eve, Jane and James.
She was unconditionally devoted to her family, committed to her friends and neighbours and was a willing contributor to the betterment of the community.
Always bright, dressed immaculately, proud and truly happy for those around her. She loved people, valued their friendship, and treated everyone the same.
We feel privileged to have had her in our lives, and so proud of her for the manner in which she coped with the loss of Les, and moving into care, yet still maintained her love and unwavering support for us all.
We are truly grateful for the friendship, care and generosity that she was shown to her throughout her life. Special thanks to Legacy Victoria and all staff at Calvary Lower Plenty.
To her, life was always “wonderful, wonderful”. She will forever be our guiding light. May she rest in peace, now reunited with her darling Les.
