Passed away peacefully.
Much loved father of Joanne & Judith, Joanne’s partner Luis and adored grandfather of Mila Violet. Loved and respected by Penny and Colin. Son of Israel (dec.) & Miriam (dec.), brother of Adele and Larry.
Allan was an extraordinary man who lived a full life, punctuated by many great accomplishments. For his services to the preservation of Australian military history and heritage and to the community, he was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2004. He will be remembered by all as incredibly intelligent, full of jokes, and always up for a chat.
In accordance with his wishes, a private family burial will take place followed by a celebration of his life for wider family and friends.
