WRIGHT, EDNA BEATRICE (nee VENABLES) OAMLate of Atherton formerly of Ingham, Cairns, Innisfail, Harwood Island, NSW and Yungaburra. Passed away peacefully at the Atherton Hospital on the 27th May, 2016. Aged 88 years. Dearly loved Wife of John (dec). Much adored Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother and Great-grandmother of Sue and Steve (dec) Fairley, Scott, Jillian, Tim, Amelie, Ash and Finn. Jan and John Veronese, David, Kate, Zac and Nikkola, Fiona, Brett, Lachlan and Madison, Michael and Lauri. Brian and Sandra, Samuel, Frances, Graham, Chelsea and Elspeth. Geoff and Sharon, Nathan, Christopher and Melanie. Much loved Aunt to the Venables and Wright clans. Treasured friend to many.Relatives, friends and Members of the Uniting Church Family, Tropical Tableland's Probus Club, Cairns and Innisfail Choral Societies, Malanda and Atherton Theatre Companies, Ex C.S.R, OAM, Blackheath and Thornburgh College, Carinya, Bluecare and those involved with her choirs, school musicals and any other organisation or activities she was associated with are respectfully invited to attend a celebration for Edna's amazing life which is to be held at the Uniting Church, Jack St, Atherton, TODAY Saturday 4th June, 2016 commencing at 11:00 a.m prior to a private cremation.In lieu of flowers, donations to Carinya Home for the Aged, Atherton would be appreciated.
