TURNBULL,Rev. Father Keith Alexander C.M. Born October 4th, 1928Born to Eternal Life, May 20th, 2017Ordained to the PriesthoodNovember 26th, 1952.Fr. Keith was the son of Alexander and Marjorie Turnbull (both dec'd).Keith was a much respected and loved confrere of the Vincentians (Congregation of the Mission). He was a Member of the Congregation since 1948 and a Priest for nearly 65 years.He loved Queensland, including Wandal, but especially the Southport-Ashmore area, offering strong pastoral leadership and a keen administrative hand. He served the Vincentian Community as Provincial for 9 years, revealing again his steady leadership qualities. In his latter years Fr. Keith was the Spiritual Director to the Vincent de Paul Society and an integral member in the development of Ozcare, Queensland. In recent years he resided at Keith Turnbull Place, Ozcare Aged Care Facility, Labrador."May he rest in peace in the presenceof God whom he served so well."Mass of Christian Burial for REVEREND FATHER KEITH TURNBULL CM will be celebrated at Mary Immaculate Church, 31 Edmund Rice Drive, Ashmore at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday 25th May 2017.The Funeral will leave the Parish for the Allambe Cemetery, Nerang.
