Late of Vincent, Townsville. Passed away peacefully on Sunday 7th May 2023 at The Townsville Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished daughter of Elsie Burdekin (nee Santo) (dec) & Frank Burdekin (dec). Much loved sister of Kevin (Sonny) (dec), Raymond (Ray) (dec), Beverley and Delmae. Beloved Mother of Jacqueline (Jacky) & Michael Neliman (dec), Gerald Thompson (jnr), Frank & Michele Thompson, Leighton Thompson, Kelvin & Janine Thompson and Dallas & Deborah Thompson. Beloved Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, God-Mother, Aunty, Niece, Cousin and Friend to many.

Family, friends and extended families of Elsie May are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service which will commence at 11am Friday 19th May 2023 at The Ryan Community Centre, Morindo Drive, Kirwan. The Funeral Cortege will then proceed to the Belgian Gardens for committal and intermet.

Families, friends and extended families are encouraged to wear Elsie May's favourite colour purple.
