TAMPAKAKIS, Maria



Late of Surfers Paradise, Born in Crete and formerly resident of Melbourne, passed away in her own home and in the presence of her loving family, as was her wish, on June 22, 2019, aged 83. Beloved Mother and Mother-in-law of Anna and Brett, and Terry and Bernadette. Adored Yia Yia of Tanya, Michael, Simone, Trent and Lilli. Dearest sister of Stavroulla, Nicko , Adamandia and their families. A much loved member of the Saint Anna congregation, Maria will be sadly missed and long remembered for her beautiful singing voice and her generosity. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Maria's funeral service, to be held at the Church of Saint Anna, 31A Crombie Avenue, Bundall, followed by burial at Southport General Cemetery, on Saturday July 20, 2019, commencing at the Church at 11am.
