A State Funeral will be held on Thursday 7 March 2019 to celebrate the life of the Honourable William Albert Landeryou (17 April 1941 - 27 February 2019).
Mr Landeryou served as Member for Doutta Galla from 1976 - 1992. During his career in the Victorian Parliament, Mr Landeryou was Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council, contributed to numerous committees and was Minister for Economic Development and Minister of Tourism (1982), Minister for Industrial Affairs and Minister of Labour and Industry (1982 - 1983).
Loving husband of Mary (dec.), father of Anne-Marie and Andrew, fatherin-law to Mat and Kimberley, and grandfather to Dylan, Drew, Jay and her husband Alex.
The service will be held at St Monica’s Catholic Church, 820 Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds. Doors will open at 11.00 am with the service commencing at 12 noon.
Relatives, friends, representatives of organisations, and members of the public are welcome to attend.
A private burial will be held.
