ROURKE, Jean Marie14th August 1920 to 27th August 2016Jean was born in Tamworth, lived much of her adult life in Sydney and retired to Cairns to sit on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. Jean is remembered for being an exceptional Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother. She touched the lives of many who knew her and she unofficially became the Queen of Stratford!Jean requested that we gather to remember her and celebrate her life with stories and laughter. We are hosting an afternoon tea at the Stratford Library commencing at 2pm and concluding at 4pm on Friday, 9th September 2016, and you are invited to join us. Wear bright clothing, bring a hand picked flower and come and celebrate 96 years of life
