PENBERTHY, Howard Ronald

Passed away at Bendigo hospital 11:15am Tuesday February 28th 2023 attended by adoring family.

Age 77 years

Beloved father of Deanne Jolly and Belinda O’Neill, much loved grandad to Scarlett and Lily Jolly; also Ethan, Jasper, Finn, and Amelie O’Neill; loved father in-law to their dad Jarrod, and friend to his former wife Glenda.

The youngest son of Victor James and Perl Rose Alvinia Penberthy (both dec), brother of Ivan, Victor (dec) and Jefferson, Howard was a natural sportsman in his younger days, a creative soul and a fine craftsman.

He loved the goldfields, poetry, prose,

history, music, carving, the AFL,

vintage cars - and his family to the utmost.

Sadly missed also by Jeff, Mitsuko and their children, Mark, Natsumi, Jun, Hanae, and

grandchildren Liam and Ellen.

Howard’s Funeral will be held at Thompson Family Funerals,

123 Mostyn Street, Castlemaine

at 1pm on Thursday March 9th 2023.
