A State Funeral to honour the life and achievements of Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue AC CBE DSG, a proud Yankunytjatjara woman and highly respected Aboriginal leader, will take place at 1pm on Friday, 8 March 2024 at St Peter’s Cathedral, Kaurna Country, North Adelaide.

If you wish to attend the State Funeral, please register your attendance via https://www.dpc.sa.gov.au.

For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed free via the Department of the Premier and Cabinet’s website and on the SA Government Facebook.

In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requested consideration for people and organisations wishing to honour Dr O’Donoghue, to donate to the Lowitja O’Donoghue Foundation at https://www.lowitja.org.au/lowitja-foundation/donate.
