Late of Yarrabah, passed away peacefully at the Yarrabah Emergency Department on 24th May, 2023, aged 100 years.

Most dearly loved Husband of Jessie (Dec). Loving Father and Father in Law of Percy & Pauline, Josephine & Ronald (Dec), Alfred Jnr & Raylene, Lynette & Terry, Colin & Delphena, Cecil & Laurel, Karen & Peter (Dec), Agnes, Paul & Teresa and Errol & Amy. Adored Popeye to all his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Loved Brother and Brother in Law of Rebecca & Ralph Underwood (both Dec), Lema & Selwyn Bounghi (both Dec), Daphne & Fred Silas (both Dec) and Eric & Greta (wife) Nicholas - Amanda (Defacto) (all Dec), Mona and Roy Stafford (both Dec), Agnes and David English (both Dec), Maxwell and Hazeline Underwood (both Dec), Beatrice and Donald Hobson (Dec), Wilfred and Kathleen Harris (both Dec), Stephen and Pauline Harris (both Dec), Edgar and Vida Harris (both Dec) and loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

The families, friends and descendants of the Djungan Tribe, the community members of Yarrabah, Cairns and Gordonvale and the members of the ALP are respectfully invited to attend Alfred's Funeral Service at St. Albans Church in Yarrabah on Tuesday 20th June, commencing at 11:00am. The burial interment will follow on Wednesday 21st June, commencing at 11:00am at Mt. Ngarrabullgan.
