MYERS, Bernard Francis (Barney)

Bernard (Barney) Francis Myers passed away peacefully at home with family after a short illness on Friday 10 September 2021, aged 73 years. Loving husband to Kay, father to Jenny, Alison and Christine, grandfather to Frida and father-in-law to Stefan and Glenn. Barney was the third child of Edward and Elizabeth, with sister Beth, and brothers John, Des, Ray and Paul. Barney retired to care for Kay in 2003, leaving his position as Regional Director, North Region, Qld Department of Natural Resources and Mines after a long public service career. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday 21 September 2021, Commencing at 2:30pm at Burkin Svendsens Chapel, 411 Mulgrave Road, Westcourt.
