Predeceased by parents James Henry Sandilands and Susan Jane (nee Robins), and brothers Syd, Jack, Jim, George, and Charles. Sister-in-law to Shirley, Jess (d), Sybil, Bernie (d), Dot (d). Loving aunt to Perry, Susan, John, Dianne, Beverley, Deborah, Suzanne (d), Stephen (d), Gary, Phillip (d), Shane, Mark (d), Jacqueline and families. Beloved cousin of Meg Trimble, Susan Forrest,and Judy Nickles. Life member of Ashgrove Golf Club. Member of Queensland Contract Bridge Club. Former employee of Westpac.

A celebration of Mavis's life will be held in St Michaels and All Angels' Anglican Church, 655 Brunswick St, New Farm, on Wednesday, 9th June 2021, at 11 a.m.
