MACKIE, Andrew Peter Last of The Peninsula Surfers Paradise, aged 71 years. Passed away peacefully on 7th January, 2018, after bravely fighting multiple myeloma for years with much dignity and class, leaving a monumental legacy. Dearly loved Husband of Colleen, much loved Father of a truly blended tribe of David, Karen, Fiona, Brett, Karen and Glenn, and Father-in-law of Renee, Steve, Phil, Suzi, Brian, Leanne and Karyn. Cherished grandfather of 14 beautiful kids and young adults who adored Poppy and embraced his warmth of spirit. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service for Andrew, which will be held at Southport Church of Christ on the corner of Olsen Avenue and Crestwood Drive, Southport, on Tuesday, 16 January, 2018, commencing at 11.30a.m., to be followed by interment in the Southport Lawn Cemetery and a wake (from approximately 3.30p.m.) for those who wish to join us to Celebrate his Life after the day's proceedings. No flowers by request, donations to the leukemia foundation appreciated.
