It is with heavy hearts the Jape family announce the passing of Jape Kong Su on 26 September 2022 at 97 years of age. Kong Su is survived by his wife Lai Min Ha and his children, Julia, Ian, Kenny, Alan, Wendy, Tony, Connie, Danny and Pamela and his 29 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. He will be reunited with his daughter Vicki.


A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at:

Venue: Darwin Convention Centre Auditorium

Date: Sunday, 2 October 2022

Time: 10am


He will make his final journey home to Timor Leste on 6 October 2022.

The family is grateful for the overwhelming support and well wishes from both countries.
