In Loving Memory of John Charles Buckingham22.01.1924 18.05.2016Devoted and cherished Husband of Faye (nee Clapcott) for over 62 years. Much loved Father of David, Alan, Janette, Graham, Jimmy and Caroline and loving Grandpa of Christopher, Philip, Matthew, Benjamin, Lucy, Louis and Frankie.Formerly of Oxfordshire and Essex (England), Fiji, Ireland, Wales and New Zealand, John was a member of the RAF Volunteer Reserve from 1943 to 1947.Much admired for his integrity, tenacity and courage, John will also be remembered for his talents as an artist and cartoonist, his insightful and witty character observations in the illustrated poems, cards, books and articles he wrote throughout his life, and as a passionate advocate for social justice.We will be holding a Family Service to Celebrate John's Life at 11 am on Monday, May 30, 2016, at the Burkin Svendsens Chapel, 411 Mulgrave Road, Westcourt QLD 4870.For further information or contact, please email david@ecorp-uk.co
