Hubert John LANDERLate of Smithfield Heights. Passed away at home, on February, 19th, aged 85. Beloved Husband of Lorraine Patricia Lander (nee Fahey). John and Lorraine were married in Melbourne, on 11 February, 1956. John was originally from Melbourne, born in Essendon, on 28 July, 1932. His Parent's names were Hubert George Lander and Eether Annie Clague Lander (nee Williamson). John was a Master Draftsman and Builder. He was renowned for building unusual and creative houses. For example he built the community hall on Sundowner Station near Kuranda. John loved to play squash and dedicated much of his time to Coast Fitness in Trinity Beach, where he was a Life Member. John is survived by three Children: Rosalie Lorraine, Peter John and Robert. John is also survived by four Grand-children: Zabrynn Bernadette, Benjamin Jarek, Jack and Evan Lee.Relatives, Friends and Squash Buddies are invited to attend John's Service, to be held at 2.00 p.m., on Wednesday, 8th March, 2017, Trinity Community Funerals Chapel, 35 Mt Milman Drive, Smithfield, QLD 4878.Your Local Community Funeral
