Aged 94 Years

Late of Jannila Avenue, Cranbrook and formerly of Mackay. Emmett passed away peacefully on Saturday 19th March, 2022 at Arcare Aged Care, with his loving Family by his side. Beloved Husband of Jean. Much loved Dad, Father-in-Law, Grandad and Great Grandad of Michael Hayes (deceased), Christopher and Heather Hayes and Families, Mark and Grace and Family, Therese Hayes, Kathleen and Tony Gillespie and Family and Paul Hayes (deceased). Cherished Brother to Terence Hayes, Patricia Hayes (deceased) and Eileen and adored Brother-in-Law to Clive Shuttlewood and Uncle to their respective Families.

All Families, Relatives and Friends are warmly invited to attend EMMETT’S FUNERAL which will commence with the CELEBRATION OF REQUIEM MASS at 10.00 a.m. THURSDAY MORNING 31st MARCH, 2022 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 398 Ross River Road, Cranbrook.

Emmett was a past Member and Player of the Mackay Bucas Football Club and Townsville Jubilee Bowls Club. Members who knew Emmett are most welcome to attend.
