28.5.1937 – 13.9.2020 Husband of 60 years to Eileen. Father to Paul, Mark and Bruce. Grandfather to Alex, Jess, Meredith and Owen. Father-in-law to Julie, Deb, Jess, and favourite uncle of Megan and Andrew. Late of New Norfolk and Hobart, great-great grandson of Aldington Blues smuggler George, son of Albert and Mary, sibling to Nola, Aileen, Doug and Keith (all dec.). Tough as nails till the end, finally taken down by a software malfunction. One of nature’s gentlemen, he’ll be badly missed by everyone who knew him. Private service.
