18 May 1935 to 6 May 2025.

Dearly devoted husband and soulmate of Iris (dec'd). Proud father, father-in-law and grandfather of Julie and Chris Duffy of Brisbane and their children Lachlan, Elise and Chantal; Tony and Rachel Cashin of Sydney and their children Helen, Timothy and Bridget; Peter and Kathryn Cashin and their children Matthew and Alexandra; and Chris Cashin of Toowoomba and his children Joel and Faith. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Jean Cashin (both dec'd) of New Zealand and their children; Estelle (Mamie) and Les Christensen (both dec'd); Nancy and Andy Blowers (both dec'd) and their children; Noel (dec'd) and Peg Connors and their children; and Bernard Connors (dec'd).

Relatives and friends of John, are warmly invited to attend a Requiem Mass and Celebration of John's Life, at the Chapel at St Vincent's Aged Care, Carseldine, 736 Beams Road, Carseldine, on Tuesday, 13th May 2025, commencing at 10 a.m. The Mass will be followed by light refreshments in the adjoining function room.
