Passed away peacefully at Pindara Private Hospital on Thursday 6 June 2019, after a long battle with illness. Aged 72 years - late of Runaway Bay and formally of Saltaire, West Yorkshire, England.

Thereafter a private cremation will be held.
A celebration of Ecker's life will be held at Integrity Funeral Home, 18 Tonga Place, Parkwood, on Wednesday 19 June 2019 at 11:00am.
Adored partner of Janice. Cherished brother of Roy (deceased) and Don. Much loved brother-in-law of Barbara, Margaret, Susan & Steve (deceased), Simon & Annie and Helen & Nigel. Beloved son-in-law of Mary. Much loved uncle to Carole, Paul, Andrew (deceased) & Robyn and Simon & Pam. Great uncle to Liana, Tyler and Amy.
