BELL, DOUGLAS JAMES

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doug, the eldest son of Isabel Nancy (Nan) Bell (dec’d) and Hilton ‘Curly’ Bell (dec’d), brother of Hilton, and Martin (dec’d), father to Todd Matthews, brother in law to Karen, uncle to Jodie, Delisa, Kylie, Belinda, Kiera and Melissa, and an intrepid sailor, sportsman, dedicated work colleague and friend to many.
Friends, family and work colleagues are advised that Doug passed peacefully at Darwin Hospital Palliative Care, on 28 March, 2023 aged 65.
The funeral is to be held at Darwin Funeral Services Resthaven Chapel on Thursday 20 April, 2023 at 1:30pm, with the wake to follow the service at the Darwin Sailing Club.
