AUSTEN, Norma Evelyn

Our beautiful, funny and feisty Mum and Grandmother (Gransy) finally gave in and left us peacefully this week at the age of 89. An avid gardener, golfer and Essendon supporter, Norma had a wonderful life with our Dad and Grandpa John, despite his support for Collingwood and his talent for burning the chops on the barbie, They were surrounded by fun-loving friends and were delighted by their grandchildren Henry, April and Zoe. As Norma's children (Russell and Gayle), we will never forget her fierce loyalty to family and friends, her wonderful puddings and cakes, and her love of pretty clothes, hair and makeup that kept her looking gorgeous until the very end. Funeral service to be held at Federation Chapel, Lilydale Memorial Park, Victoria Road, Lilydale on Thursday, January 30 at 1.45pm.
