It is with deep love and sorrow that we share the passing of Timothy David Atkinson, known affectionately as Tim, Timmy or Timbo, a proud Bundjalung and Yiman man, on Saturday, 17th May 2025.

Tim was a gentle soul, a master woodturner, a well-respected leader and mentor in the telecommunications industry, a loving husband to Sharon, son to Judy and Michael, brother to Andy, Carlie and Kate, uncle to Jessica, Sarah, Rebecca, Ashwin, Sinead, Emily, Zara, Jaci, Tyrone, Hayley, Zeth, and friend to so many. His cultural pride, integrity, kind heart, deep care for others, and love of Country touched all who knew him.

A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held on
Saturday, 31st May 2025
from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
at Lake View Chapel, Albany Creek Memorial Park
400 Albany Creek Road, Bridgeman Downs, QLD 4035.

The ceremony will begin outdoors with a cultural welcome and smoking ceremony by the lake, followed by a service in the chapel and a healing wake with yarning, food, and connection.

All who knew and loved Tim are warmly invited to join us in honouring his life, spirit, and legacy.
