battle with cancer

on June 29, 2022.

Aged 79 years.

Much loved husband of

Mannina for almost

56 years.

Treasured father and

father-in-law of

Teresa and Cosimo Luppino,

Suzie and Tony Carbone,

Frank and Tess.

Absolutely adored Nonno of

Rocco and Rocco.

Loving son and son-in-law of

Francesco and

Marianna Zavaglia

and Nicola and

Teresa Calabrese

(all deceased).

Loved and respected

brother and brother-in-law of Rosa (deceased),

Cosimo and Esterina (Italy),

Teresa and Toto Ursino

(both deceased) (Italy),

Alfredo (deceased) (Italy),

Graziano and Maria,

Frank and Cathy Calabrese.

Much loved by all his

nephews and nieces in

Australia and Italy.

Rocco lived a hard working life filled with lots of love, laughter and food and then in his retirement fought a long hard 12 year battle with cancer, often defying

the odds! He was an

inspiration to all who

knew him.

The family would like to thank Dr. James Doherty of

Midwest Health,

Dr. Tim Price and the staff

at T.Q.E.H. Oncology Clinic

along with the R.D.N.S., especially Linda, for the amazing care given to Rocco over the years and T.Q.E.H.

Palliative Care team for all their assistance at the end.

We would also like to thank

all the family and friends that did all they could over the years to make Rocco's

days a little brighter.
