Publication: The Advertiser
Date Listed: 19/12/2020

NOONAN, Dr William Patrick (Bill)

Born January 2, 1943 Died December 14, 2020

Loved and loving husband of Elisabeth (Lizey).

Darling Dad and father-in-law of Amy & Michael.

Adored and adoring Pa of Edward.

Dearly loved by: His late parents John "Spider" & Gertrude Noonan.

His siblings Adrian, Des (deceased), Lexie, Jane, John, Creina & Madonna.

His siblings-in-law Delma, Dennis, Kerry, Gerry, Paul & Mario.

His nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews & extended family.

Bill was also a friend to many and a "miracle worker" to thousands of his chiropractic patients.

Bill lived with a smile on his face, a whistle on his lips and he was ever-ready to brighten someone's day, whether fixing their pain, telling them a joke or boosting their self-esteem.

As a chiropractor and osteopath, professional runner, fitness trainer, footballer and football umpire, Bill was passionate about health and fitness and he stayed as active as possible to the very end of his life with a indefatigable spirit.

Bill loved living in Glenelg. He loved doing unofficial "crop inspections" across country South Australia, particularly in the mid-north. He loved a cold Melbourne Bitter stubby, especially at his local, the Watermark Hotel. But, most of all, Bill loved people. Bill loved his patients, friends, family and, above everyone else, his little grandson, Ed.

A rare and unfair cancer couldn't kill Bill's optimism. We will miss him forever.

Darling Billy, life with you was a adventure and a challenge, as everything worth doing is. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat but I'll miss you until then. Love, Lizey.

Dear Dad, no one is guaranteed a good dad who'll stay in their lives, so I hit the jackpot and more with you as mine. Thank you for your unwavering love and support, sage advice and being the most incredible role model and cheer squad. I can imagine what you'd say to me about almost any situation: "Don't get worried, just relax". Me Best Dad, love you, righto, hooroo... forever, your Buzz.

Pa! It's time o'clock.
Pa! Black Swan. Pa!
Love you Pa! Love, your best Eddie-Boy.

Our thanks to everyone who supported Bill medically and emotionally. Thanks to GP Dr Vince Signoriello, Dr Andrew Cheng with Dr Sunny Gamage & team, Dr Sharon Liberali & team, Dr Raghu Gowda & team, Dr Brian Stein & team, Dr Tim To & the SAPS team,
Calvary Community Care team, crews from SA Ambulance Service, and the RAH and FMC ED and ward staff.

Our sincere thanks to everyone at Laurel Hospice at Flinders Medical Centre, including the clinical care team, support staff, students and volunteers. Bill thought highly of you all and would have much preferred to have a beer with you than be your patient.

Vale, Bill.
