WHITE, Stanley Francis

After a long battle with lewy body dementia, loss of his beloved wife (Isobel) of 60 years in Sept 2021 and then surgery for a broken hip 6 weeks ago - he has said enough is enough! On 5 June 2022 Stan passed away peacefully at John Flynn Retirement Village.

‘Stan the Man’ was a Bookie, Founder of Taxi Talk magazine and entrepreneur. He was bigger than life, loved to tell a tale, share a drink and was a true gentleman right up until the end.

With tears, we saw him suffer and we watched him fade away, our hearts were slowly breaking as he fought so hard to stay. He is now at peace and this also brings, an end to his worry about forgetting things.

Loving father of Toni Peters and Donna White, father-in-law to Marc Peters, doting grandfather of Amy, Stuart, Eric and Spencer. Remembered and loved forever.
