WHITE, Alice. _ Hello Nana, (I can hear you call back, hello Christopher with a laugh in your voice.). I must apologise for not attending your funeral as I am in Spain walking the Camino de Santiago with Jade. I know you would want us to keep walking. It breaks my heart to know that you have passed, but I am happy now that you are in a better place. As I walk this dusty trail in Spain, I'm bombarded with pleasant childhood memories - growing a veggie garden, grabbing eggs from under the chooks, the Buninyong farm, the potbelly stove, the lolly jar, the latest ice creams in the fridge, the massive lemon and frangipani trees and the smell of your gardens. All of these remind me of you Nana. I remember you holding my hand as a child as we walked to the butchers shop for a free slice of Don Straz. In your final years I returned the favour by holding your hand as we had many lunch outings to McDonald's for a happy meal. I am so sorry you are gone but I will never forget you. I think of you with every step I take, and I am honoured to be called your grandson. I hope no-one in Heaven is making you `wild', only laughing at your `comical' jokes. You are one of a kind and I pray that a part of you is passed down to me. Keep laughing Nana. Always in my Heart._ Chris and Jade White
