Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
WARREN (McDonald). - Olive Caroline passed away peacefully at Castlemaine on June 15, 1999, aged 88 years. Loved daughter of the late Edward and Sophia Frank. Dearly loved wife of James McDonald and George Warren (both dec.). Loving motherof Stewart, Maxwell and Joan, mother-in-law of Myra, Sylvia and David. Devoted Nana of her 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Memories are ours to keep A golden heart stopped beating, Two hands were laid to rest, God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the best, If tears could build a stairway, And memories build a lane, We'd walk right up to heaven and bring you back again. We love you Mum more than words can say A growing love from day to day A beautiful lady so placid and rare, To us you showed love and care. God called you home but we were there, The moment He took you in His care. Mum you were so special and our best friend who will be sadly missed. We love you always. - Loving daughter Joan and son-in-law David. A life made beautiful by kindly deeds, A helping hand for others needs, Big was your heart, your friendship true, Loved and respected by all who knew. We speak of you with love and pride, We smile through tears we cannot hide, Thank you for the happy wonderful times we shared. The love you gave, the way you cared. You left a space no one can fill, We miss you now and always will. Much loved Nana of Pauline and Geoff, loved Nana Warren of Ricky, Karen, Scott, Melissa and Chelsee. Sadly missed
