The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
My dad Max was a family man and he relished at the chance to spend time with everyone even when it was early morning baby sitting, Thanks dad! Max was always out and about he liked to keep busy, you could tell by the day of the week where he would most likely be. A few of his regular spots were the Claremont footy club, The Mont, The Granada and his regular lunches at the Derwent Barracks. Max loved helping others and would always mow peoples lawns he would do a drive by and see that a lawn was a inch to long and add it to his list. I wont name all of my Dads friend or I will be buying the newspaper but I would like to mention Karl and Jenny Holzinger who held a special place in his heart. I would also like to thank the TFUA for all the mate ship over the decades that Max was a umpire.
RIP now dad love Samantha "Sam"
