VELLA Richard Joseph Tragically, on Friday, Nov. 3, at the Gold Coast Rich, The past 11 years have been the most happiest time of my life. Not only were you my husband, you were my soul mate. You are my hero and now you will always be rememberedas a hero because that is what you are. You fulfilled your dream of becoming a Police Officer which was a real achievement, and for that I am so very proud of you. I cannot begin to describe my love to you. I love you so very much. I will miss you deeply but I know in my heart you will always be with me. I will forever cherish our time together and you will remain close to my heart. Rest in peace Bub - Your loving wife Danni Rich, You were my only son and I couldn't have asked for a more loving and caring son, you were the best. You will always be forever in my heart. I love you Son - Dad My dear brother Rich, Listen to me, there is something I want to say, can't understand what happened, so many questions I can't find any answers. I lie in bed at night and think about memories of us little when we used to play. I was a rebel and you were the angel, you were always so quiet you couldn't even lie. We rode our bikes, we swam and I beat you up. When I think back I don'tknow how I stuffed you in my pram. When I close my eyes I can't tell you how proud I am when I see you marching in parade. You are my little brother who turned out to be my big brother. You were truly a policeman who fulfilled your role as you saved a loved ones life. So now I tell you this: I love you and for each and every day I miss you. In every police officer I see I look for you so I have decided until we meet again I won't say goodbye. - Your sister Liz Karlik My Uncle Richard, Mr Big Policeman, I will never forget the little games we played especially when you handcuffed me to the chair. I love you Uncle Richard, you're my super hero. - Michael Richard, My memories will always be of a fine outstanding gentleman. You havedone your family proud and I am sure that you will always carry that respect wherever you go. Rest in Peace - Ken Anderson Richard, Your time on earth was short, but all who knew you, loved you. You'll be sadly missed. Love - Teresa Vella Rich, You were my brother-in-law but you were more of a brother to me. Miss you, love you always - Your Sis Silvana Rich, You came into our family as our son-in-law, but to us you are like our own son. You will always be a part of our family. We will miss you and love you forever. - Your parents-in-law Mario and Giovanna Rametta Richard, Taken from us at such a young age and courageous at the end. Our lives will never be the same. We'll miss you at our Tuesday night dinners. Although Mario cries, we remind him of what you'd say: "You wuss", which brings a smile to his face, but Paul is too young to understand. Rich, you will always live in our hearts, precious memories never forgotten. Love you always - Brother-in-law Vito, sister-in-law Maria and nephews Mario and Paul. Dear Richard, We shared a growing life together, like no other. In the good and bad times you had, we always stuck by you no matter what. Not only are you our best friend, but a Godfather to our son Jordan. We cannot imagine our lives without you, but it is something that God will guide us to cope with. Alexandra, Jordan and Darcy will always ask "Where is our Uncle Richie", and we will say he is resting in Heaven. We are missing you deeply and our hearts are broken, but the memories we have will never die. We promise you "Richie" we will never leave your wife Danni's side. We will support her and stick by her just as you would. Love you always - Joe, Joanne, Alexandra and Jordan Erougian Never to be forgotten - Tony and Doris Zerafa - Daniel, Maria and Darcy Zerafa - Tracey Zerafa and Adam Richard, You left suddenly and tragically, so hard to accept that
