Loving husband of Alida. Father to Jan, Vonkie, Gerda, Wouter and Winny. Father-in-law to Robyn, Nick, Marjan and Ian.

Opa to Kate, Bradley, Jacqui, Bridgette, Alex, Jane, Glenn, James, Leesa and Michelle.

Opa Ruis to 13 great grandchildren.

He was a quiet achiever who was always willing to help others.

Rest in Peace Dad
