TZIAVRANGOS, Orhomenos
(John)
Born in Palaiopyrgos, Arcadia, Greece
on 26 January 1936.
Passed away peacefully
on 8 May 2025
in Adelaide, Australia.
Aged 89 years.
Beloved husband of Georgia
for almost 60 years.
Cherished father of
Aliki,
Toula and Kosta,
Evan and Carmel,
Peter and Veronica.
Treasured and adored grandfather of
Sevanah, Georgia, Zachariah, Chloe,
Olympia, Lucas, Joshua,
Grace and Sophia.
He was deeply loved
and respected by
his brother and sisters,
and all who had the privilege
of knowing him.
Affectionately known as Uncle Johnny,
he was a favourite to many
nieces and nephews,
always ready with a joke and a story.
We love you and we will miss you always
until we meet again.
Go now and rest.
Johnny,
my role as your wife came to an end in the early
hours of Thursday morning.
It feels surreal.
My heart is broken and full of different emotions
not to have you around any more to talk,
have a coffee,
share some fruit or a glass of wine,
plant in your vegetable garden
or organise what I’m going
to cook for our family dinners.
Over sixty years we did everything together
and we focused on our family.
I know your heart is full and happy.
You fulfilled your goals so now my boy have your
well deserved rest.
We were blessed with so many
wonderful memories and they will be forever
in my heart until we meet again.
On behalf of our family,
I would like to thank the amazing nursing teams
at Flinders and Brighton dialysis
for their dedication and commitment.
To the medical staff that cared for
John over his life,
especially Dr George Passaris,
Dr Sam Lehman and Dr John Pakos,
thank you for the excellent care,
support and advice given to John and I.
We are forever grateful.
Georgia
