The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Devoted husband to Marlene. Loving father to Kelly and Julie. Father-in-law to Chris and Anthony. Proud poppa to Joel, Liam, Natasha, Lachlan, Jordan, Samuel and Nicolas and great-poppa to Noah and Harlow. Poppa-in-law to Katelyn, Emily, Jamela, Heath and Makenzie. The full sea rolls and thunders in glory and in glee. O, bury me not in the senseless earth, but in the living sea. Ay, bury me where it surges. A thousand miles from shore. And in its brotherly unrest I'll range for evermore. Rest in peace.
