TOWNSEND, Grant. A highly respected colleague and valued friend, a warm and friendly human being, it was my honour to have engaged in collaborative research with Grant. I shall miss his wise counsel, our discussions on academic matters and preventive dental care. We both derived great pleasure talking about our grandchildren.
