TOUMPAS, Christos OBE

On behalf of the Clergy, Council and Members of the Greek Orthodox Community of St George, Brisbane and The Greek Community Centre, Brisbane Inc, we are very saddened to hear of the passing of our Past President and Councillor, Christos Toumpas, aged 92. We send our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers to all of the family. Christos led a Committee during a time of growth including the establishment of The Greek Community Centre, Brisbane (The Greek Club) and was a leader with the values and vision that has helped the Community to be what it is today.
