THOMPSON. - Mervyn (Merv), 69 years, passed away (peacefully) on Oct. 25, 2000, surrounded by his family and loving wife of 48 years, Edna and his children, Valerie, Cheryl, Raymond, Karen and David, father-in-law to Vicki, Wayne and Lindsay (dec.), loving Pop of Melanie (dec.), Cathy, Kara, Ben, Ashlee, Shannon, Lauren, Alisha and Emily. God looked around His garden, And found an empty space, He then looked down upon the earth, And found a tired face, He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest, His garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
