SURMA, Stephen

Passed away with his family by his side, aged 61 years.

Eldest son of Marianne (nee Saumweber, dec. 2006) and Jozef Surma (dec. 1998). Loving brother and brother-in-law to Tony and Anne-Louise. Loving uncle to his nephews Rigil, Hadar and Toliman. Friend to many and someone who brought so much joy to so many around him.

We'll remember you as an avid model maker, die-hard Brisbane Broncos and Maroon supporter and for your courage facing all the hurdles life presented to you.

You were loved and will be missed.

Stephen's family wishes to offer sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital Intensive Care Unit and wards 3B and 5B that have cared for him so well while he was with you.

Private cremation.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial celebrating Stephen’s life on 16th July at 10am, held at the Upper Mt Gravatt family home in Brisbane QLD. Please wear QLD or Broncos colours to celebrate Stephen.

As with all Covid restrictions at the moment in QLD please wear your mask properly and have the QLD app ready to check in when you arrive. (That way no one else lost due to this event.)
