The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
STREET (Kirk). - Gwen. 1919 - 2009 Mum God looked around His garden, And found an empty space, So He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face, He put His Arms around you, And lifted you to rest, His garden must be beautiful, As He only takes the best, It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. Our loving mother and grandmother, finally at peace and back with Dad (Trevor Kirk) after 33 years apart. Mum, you will be sadly missed but you left us with many special memories. Forever in our hearts - Heather and John, grandchildren Gavin and Megan, great grandchildren Jagger, Magenta (dec.), Lincoln and Cougar.
