With great sadness we announce the death of Denis at Guilford Young Grove on Friday 9 June, at the grand age of 102.

Most loving husband to Joan (d.2015), father to Jenny, grandfather to Charles and Catherine, and great grandfather to Matilda. Will be very greatly missed by his family, in-laws, and many friends both here and in the UK, for his loving heart, his lively mind and his generous spirit. At his request there will be a private funeral only.

With many thanks to all the many staff who cared for Denis with great compassion and respect during his years at Guilford Young Grove.
