SORRENTI, Giovanni
Mio Carissimo ed indimenticabile marito, La tua presenza e il tuo sorriso mi manca, ma la tua cara memoria rimane per sempre nel mio cuore. Con amore e tanto affetto tua moglie, Bruna. Dad, Wish I could see you one more time, to hear your voice. My heart is broken and I will never understand why. The special times we shared together just you and I will always be treasured. I find it hard to believe you’re gone. A man so gentle and kind. A man with so much love to give, my DAD. I love you more than words can express, from your eldest daughter Maria and Sam. Nonno, Seeing your family put the biggest smile on your face and on ours. Your family was your life. We will always cherish your gardening stories and secret tips you would share. Your passion for your garden was infectious and has inspired us. The sneaky beer and wine that we shared, for us as kids will never be forgotten. Your unconditional love, wisdom and life lessons you taught us are our most precious memories. This will be passed onto our families as these gifts you gave us. Give Nina a big kiss from us. Love always your grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Frank, Rosalyn, Tony, Victoria and Anthony, Lorenzo and Claudia, Marco, Gabrielle and Freya, Angelo. Dearest Dad, Thank you for my greatest gift in your son Tony. It was a privilege sharing many special moments together at home and at the cherry farm, I will never forget those times. The bond you shared with Tony as father and son was so special and I take comfort in knowing you are now reunited. You always treated me as your own daughter, and I am forever grateful for the love and compassion you showed me. I will miss seeing your cheeky smile daily, your gentle nature, words of wisdom and kind heart. Give Tony a big kiss for me. Forever in my heart, Rosina. Xo Our adored Nonno, Living next door to you was an immense honor and privilege. You helped shape us in so many ways, teaching us the simplest yet most profound lessons in life. Growing up by your side, we were inspired by your kindness, courage, and strength of character. We appreciated these qualities even more so after we lost Dad, with you showing us the way forward during our darkest days. We are forever grateful for the quality time we spent together at the cherry farms, and we are so fortunate to have been part of what you loved for so many years. We hope to make you proud and continue your legacy as a family. You and Dad will remain two of the greatest men in our lives and we will always remember you. Love Johnny, Anthony, and Francesca. xoxoxo Dearest Dad, We cannot believe you left us so suddenly. The thought of not seeing your wonderful smile and sharing special moments with you will forever be missed. You were always a caring and loving father and grandfather. Our love for you will always be in our hearts. We know you are not alone and will be watching over us all. Forever loved but never forgotten. Loving daughter Rita Sorrenti, grandsons Jason Russo and Jake Hughes, great-grandson Max Russo, grandfather-in-law to Breigh Russo and Izzie Dew. To our Dad, Nonno and Bisnonno, You were a man of great integrity, kind, loving, softly spoken and humble with a heart of gold. You cherished the simple things in life, your family was everything to you and you needed nothing else. We are forever grateful for the memories we were lucky enough to share with you, traditions you taught us and the advice you gave. You will be so dearly missed but never forgotten, we love you so much. May you rest in peace. Aurelia and Angelo, Nicholas, Michael and Daniela, Danielle and Thomas Angelo and Antonio - Love you Nonno G. Dad, No words can describe how heartbroken we are. You stayed so strong for us for so long, but we could see you were tired. Your time here with us was precious and filled with love. It was time to rest and be at peace and fly with the angels. The love we have for you cannot be measured. We were privileged and honoured to call you our dad, a gentleman and loving father with a huge heart. We will miss that beautiful smile of yours that lit up the room and hearing you reply to us at bedtime “I LOVE YOU TOO". We pray that you are at peace now with no more pain only joy and happiness. Our memory of you will be cherished forever. We love you Dad and give Tony a big kiss for us. From you loving daughter Clera and son-in-law John. Our Beautiful Nonno, It breaks our hearts to know that you are no longer with us. There are too many qualities we will miss but most of all your endless kindness, gentle heart and your hilarious cheekiness that always made us laugh. To all the scopa games we played where you made us think we could actually beat you. Along with all the delicious food we shared together. We will forever cherish these memories and continue to tell the stories you shared that defined you to be the great man you so clearly were. You were more than a Nonno to us, you were our mentor, our friend, our protector and a second father to us. If only we can carry on in this life with the same compassion, grace and love you showed us everyday. We love you Nonno, forever and ever. Ciao Nonno. James, Jess, Giorgia and Christopher.
