Loved son of Vanda and Sydney Smout (both dec.). Loved father and loving friend of Barbara, John (dec.), Susan, Mary, Claire and Andrew. Loving father-in-law of Neville, Bob, Mario, Roger and Julie. Loved Grandpa of Dylan, Megan (dec.), Adam, Matthew, Christopher and Robert. You were a true gentleman, totally devotedto your wife, your children and your family, and we all remember you as a strong, traditional father figure. By your words and example, you taught us to be strong, yet fair; to act with integrity and honesty; to be prudent yet generous,resourceful, independent and inquisitive; to stand up for what we believe in; to be determined and never give up!
